Mortgage Advisor Team Leader – £35k base, OTE £50k – Birmingham

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Advisor to lead a high‑performing team in Birmingham. You will continue to build your own mortgage and protection pipeline while coaching and developing advisors across multiple West Midlands branches.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert mortgage and protection advice to clients sourced through a premium estate agency network.
• Lead, manage and develop a team of Mortgage Advisors across West Midlands locations.
• Conduct regular one‑to‑one coaching sessions, performance reviews and training needs assessments.
• Drive team KPIs, productivity and sales performance to meet individual and collective targets.
• Support advisors in achieving their business goals and ensure compliance with FCA regulations.
• Monitor team performance, implement improvement plans and maintain high standards of service.

Required profile

• CeMAP qualified (or equivalent).
• Proven experience as a Mortgage Advisor.
• Previous leadership, coaching, mentoring or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage and protection products.
• Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Passionate about developing people and driving team success.
