Mortgage Intelligence & Sourcing Manager

About the role

The Mortgage Intelligence & Sourcing Manager will drive West One’s origination across residential, buy‑to‑let, second charge, bridging, commercial and development finance by leading sourcing relationships, ensuring product accuracy and delivering market intelligence that shapes pricing and criteria decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead relationships with sourcing, criteria and affordability platforms, negotiating commercial terms to maximise reach and value.
• Own product and criteria accuracy across all sourcing systems, managing sign‑off controls and resolving load errors.
• Manage end‑to‑end product launches, rate changes and withdrawals, coordinating broker communications and go‑live timelines.
• Act as business owner for distribution technology integrations, defining requirements for DIP APIs and pricing engines.
• Monitor competitor rates, fees and criteria, analyse West One’s placement and ranking, and conduct gap analyses to recommend product adjustments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mortgage distribution, intermediary partnerships, pricing or market analytics within a UK lender or sourcing provider.
• Strong knowledge of the UK mortgage and specialist lending market, including buy‑to‑let, second charge and bridging products.
• Demonstrated commercial acumen with the ability to turn complex data into actionable pricing recommendations.
• Experience leading cross‑functional projects and technology initiatives, with excellent attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills for automated reporting.
• Working knowledge of sourcing and criteria systems such as Twenty7tec, Iress and Mortgage Brain.
