Multi‑Skilled Carpenter – Full‑time

About the role

Join a well‑established building contractor in Fareham as a Multi‑Skilled Carpenter. You will be equipped from day one with a company van, fuel card and essential tools, working on residential maintenance and repair projects across the South East.

Key responsibilities

• Fit and fix mortice latch sets, multipoint locks and related hardware.
• Carry out door hanging, door lining and rebated framework installations.
• Perform full kitchen installations, including mitred worktop joints and flooring.
• Gain entry to properties, ensure safety and complete repairs.
• Use a phone and PDA to communicate job details and updates.

Required profile

• Trade experience in residential repairs, kitchen fitting, fire‑door fitting or joinery.
• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Carpentry.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to pass a DBS check.

Required skills

• Mortice latch and multipoint lock installation.
• Door hanging and lining.

• Kitchen installation with mitred worktop joints and flooring.
• Fire‑door installation.
• Use of PDA/phone for job communication.
