National Account Manager - Contract Catering

About the role

We are looking for a strategic, tenacious National Account Manager to lead a portfolio of high-potential contract catering accounts at head‑office and central procurement level. The role sits within a market‑leading provider of catering equipment and commercial kitchen solutions, supporting major catering operators to optimise their kitchens and manage equipment assets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a defined portfolio of national contract catering accounts, working with head‑office, category management and central procurement teams.
• Drive commercial growth using a balanced “hunter/farmer” approach – retain existing business while expanding framework agreements through service & maintenance contracts, capital equipment sales and asset replacements.
• Negotiate and secure long‑term contracts, building enduring partnerships with national clients.
• Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews and co‑create joint business plans that deliver shared value and efficiency.
• Lead, coach and develop direct reports (National Account Executive / Internal Sales Executive) to achieve national targets.
• Represent the business at national trade shows, conferences and networking events to raise brand visibility.

Required profile

• Proven track record in national account management within the contract catering or commercial kitchen sector.
• Strong relationship‑building and negotiation skills.
• Commercially minded with a focus on customer‑centric service delivery.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic plans and lead a small sales team.
