National Account Manager – Home Based, £55k + Bonus

About the role

This is a home‑based, full‑time position managing strategically important national accounts for a specialist supplier to the UK forecourt market. You will work directly with senior buyers, shaping account growth and influencing the company’s expansion across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Take commercial ownership of key national accounts, building strong relationships with senior decision‑makers.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans to identify and capture growth opportunities.
• Negotiate pricing, margins, promotions and commercial agreements.
• Use sales and category data to advise customers on non‑food range optimisation and introduce new products.
• Monitor performance, forecast future results and translate insights into actionable plans.
• Collaborate with category management, supply chain and marketing teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Required profile

• Proven track record in national or key account management, preferably within FMCG, forecourt convenience, automotive accessories or non‑food retail.
• Experience managing pricing, margins and promotional activity with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to analyse sales data, forecasts and commercial performance.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple important customers simultaneously.
