Network Design Engineer – Aruba

About the role

We are seeking a Network Design Engineer specialised in Aruba technologies to join a global leader in connectivity and digital solutions. Based in Manchester (with flexibility to work from Leeds, Birmingham, London or Bristol), the role is hybrid – three days in the office and two days remote. You will translate high‑level designs into detailed low‑level solutions, implement them post‑sale, test thoroughly and hand over to support or managed‑service teams.

Key responsibilities

• Capture detailed customer technical requirements and produce comprehensive solution designs.
• Manage technical direction, review and validation of new and existing products and services.
• Create statements of work, coordinate third‑party deliverables and oversee customer engagement.
• Plan and execute customer migrations, resolve complex issues and lead root‑cause analysis.
• Identify risks, implement mitigations and contribute thought‑leadership in complex bids.

Required profile

• Proven experience in high‑level and low‑level design of complex network solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership abilities.
• Experience with enterprise or public‑sector clients.
• HPE Aruba Associate certification (or equivalent).
