Non-Contentious Construction Solicitor (5+ PQE) – Birmingham

About the role

We are seeking a non‑contentious construction solicitor with around five years post‑qualification experience to join a leading international law firm’s Birmingham construction team. You will work on a diverse portfolio of high‑value development and infrastructure projects, advising developers, funders, contractors and other key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and negotiate building contracts, consultant appointments, collateral warranties, guarantees and related project documentation.
• Collaborate with Real Estate, Banking and Corporate colleagues to support complex transactions from inception to completion.
• Provide commercial, pragmatic advice on all non‑contentious construction matters.

Required profile

• 5+ years PQE in non‑contentious construction law.
• Strong drafting ability and confidence in client relationship management.
• Experience with standard form contracts, particularly JCT and NEC.
