About the role
This temporary, full‑time position is based in London and focuses on initiating and amending prescriptions for opiate and alcohol‑substitute treatments within a substance‑misuse setting. You will also help develop the prescribing clinic and act as the primary contact for prescribing queries across partner agencies.
Key responsibilities
- Initiate prescribing and amend prescriptions for opiate and alcohol‑substitute treatments and related medications.
- Lead the development of the prescribing clinic, ensuring best practice and compliance.
- Serve as the point of contact for colleagues and partner agencies on prescribing matters.
Required profile
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Previous experience as a Non‑Medical Prescriber in a drug‑treatment, forensic, prison or similar substance‑misuse environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
