Nurture Teaching Assistant – Support SEMH/EBD Pupils

About the role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Teaching Assistant to work with young people who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties (SEMH) or Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). You will join a Nurture group and support pupils across the secondary curriculum on a long‑term basis, tailoring learning to individual needs.
Key responsibilities
- Support pupils across the secondary curriculum within a Nurture group on a long‑term basis.
- Differentiate learning methods to meet the individual needs of pupils with SEMH or EBD.
Required profile
- Qualified Teaching Assistant with experience of working with young people who have SEMH or EBD.
- Strong communication skills and ability to hold student attention.
- Proven behaviour management and support techniques.
- Familiarity with a nurture environment and with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils.
