Operational Account Manager

About the role

The Operational Account Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day delivery of dedicated client contracts within the vehicle rental and fleet management sector. You will ensure high service standards, operational efficiency and commercial success while building strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the operational delivery of dedicated client contracts and ensure contractual SLAs and KPIs are consistently met.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders.
• Monitor operational KPIs, analyse data and implement improvements to performance and efficiency.
• Lead client review meetings, resolve operational issues and escalations.
• Produce performance reports for clients and senior management.
• Lead, coach and develop operational teams to maximise performance.
• Collaborate with internal departments to improve service delivery and ensure compliance with company policies and legislation.

Required profile

• 5+ years’ experience in operational or account management.
• 2+ years’ experience leading or managing teams.
• Experience in vehicle rental, fleet management, mobility or a similar industry.
• Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to manage performance against SLAs and KPIs.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Educated to A‑Level, degree level or equivalent experience.

• Salary range £35,000 – £42,000 per annum.
