Operations Director

About the role

Cast UK Limited is seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead a multi‑faceted operation covering manufacturing, service delivery and logistics. This senior position offers full ownership of day‑to‑day performance, strategic direction and profit‑and‑loss responsibility, driving the business toward its next growth phase.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all operational activity across production, service and logistics functions.
• Develop, mentor and manage a high‑performing leadership team.
• Drive improvements in productivity, quality, safety and delivery performance.
• Implement and refine operational systems, processes and controls.
• Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
• Own P&L performance, cost control and margin improvement.
• Provide visibility across the business and support strategic planning and expansion initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience (Operations Director, Managing Director or equivalent).
• Background in manufacturing, engineering, construction or industrial services.
• Strong commercial awareness and operational expertise.
• Track record of scaling teams and improving performance.
• Decisive, resilient and highly accountable.
