Outsourcing Assistant

About the role

LGS Vision Recruitment is supporting a forward‑thinking accounting firm in the City of London. The Outsourcing Assistant will join the outsourcing team that delivers day‑to‑day finance services for a portfolio of clients, acting as an extension of each client’s internal finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Process sales and purchase invoices, receipts and payments in client accounting systems.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations across multiple client accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain and update purchase, sales and nominal ledgers, ensuring accurate coding of transactions.
• Assist with month‑end close, preparing balance‑sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Prepare and review monthly and quarterly management accounts, including variance analysis and commercial commentary.
• Manage client finance inboxes, respond to supplier and stakeholder queries, and process incoming invoices and payment requests.

Required profile

• Studying or qualified in accounting or finance.
• Friendly, dependable and able to act as a point of contact for clients.
• Capable of juggling several client accounts simultaneously.
