Painter – Temporary Cover for Accommodation Sites

About the role

Adecco is seeking reliable painters for a short‑term assignment supporting maintenance and refurbishment across accommodation sites in Colchester. The role runs from 3 August to 28 August, 40 hours per week (8:30 am‑5:30 pm, Monday‑Friday), and offers a competitive hourly rate.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out painting and decorating tasks in residential accommodation buildings.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding and priming where required.
• Paint stairwells, hallways and other communal areas to a high standard.
• Work safely at height using appropriate equipment.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment and follow health‑and‑safety procedures.

Required profile

• Previous painting experience preferred.
• Comfortable working at height.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Own safety boots.
