About the role

HFPeople is seeking a motivated Paralegal to join its counter‑fraud department in Media City, Salford. You will work within a fast‑moving legal team that handles complex motor fraud cases for insurance and commercial clients across the UK and Ireland.

Key responsibilities

• Disrupt fraudsters by using the latest tools and technology to identify, fight, and prevent fraud.
• Manage a caseload of hourly‑rate, litigated, non‑DA complex fraud files within the firm’s case management system.
• Oversee complex motor fraud matters, ensuring professional and efficient service for clients.
• Conduct advocacy on applications and Case Management Conferences as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience handling a full and varied caseload, preferably in a defendant role or counter‑fraud insurance sector.
• Enthusiastic, self‑motivated attitude with a strong desire to meet and exceed targets.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, demonstrating initiative and creative problem‑solving.
• Strong work ethic, team‑player mindset, and confidence in public speaking.

Required skills

• Proficiency with case management software.
