Paralegal - Post Completion Conveyancing

About the role

We are a well‑established law firm in Canary Wharf looking for a motivated Paralegal to join our busy Post Completion Conveyancing team. You will work within a supportive property department of around 30 professionals, handling the final stages of residential conveyancing transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit SDLT returns.
• Deal with Land Registry applications and requisitions.
• Manage post‑completion checklists and ensure timely file progression.
• Monitor and meet all post‑completion deadlines.
• Review completion documents and gather required information.
• Liaise with clients, lenders, solicitors, managing agents and other third parties.
• Update case management systems accurately.
• Handle administrative tasks related to completed files.
• Assist fee earners with follow‑up matters after completion.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months experience in conveyancing, post‑completion or residential property.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast‑paced legal environment.
• Proactive, reliable and keen to develop within residential property law.

Required skills

• Confidence using case management systems.
