Paralegal – Property Litigation & Leasehold (6‑Month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

This 6‑month fixed‑term position is with a well‑established London law firm, supporting the Property Litigation and Leasehold team. The role offers exposure to a broad range of contentious property matters in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with Courts and Tribunals and manage procedural deadlines.
• Prepare and file Court and Tribunal documentation.
• Support disclosure exercises, evidence preparation, and the drafting of witness statements, exhibits, and hearing bundles.
• Draft notices, correspondence, and standard applications.
• Conduct legal and Land Registry research and summarise title documentation.
• Assist with file opening, compliance, client due‑diligence processes, and client communications.
• Prepare costs schedules and related documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a paralegal, preferably in litigation, property litigation, landlord‑tenant or leasehold matters.
• Familiarity with Court procedures and case‑management processes.
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Professional, proactive attitude and confidence handling sensitive information.
