Part Qualified Accountant

About the role

A new opportunity for an experienced Part Qualified Accountant to join a leading business based in Woking. The role involves supporting statutory and management reporting across the full chart of accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly accruals, pre‑payments and deferred income with high accuracy.
• Ensure all general ledger postings are complete and submitted on time for month‑end reporting.
• Prepare lease accounting journal entries in line with IFRS requirements.
• Manage intercompany accounting, including reconciliations and elimination postings.
• Maintain fixed‑asset accounting, capitalisation, depreciation and sub‑ledger reconciliation.
• Complete monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items promptly.
• Partner with the commercial finance team to analyse performance and comment on variances.
• Support internal and external audits by providing schedules, reconciliations and responses.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified accountancy certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience.
• Experience in general ledger accounting.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
