Part-Time Insolvency Practitioner (2 days/week)

About the role

This is a part‑time (2 days per week) position with a well‑established Manchester‑based insolvency practice. The role can be performed on a hybrid basis or fully remotely, allowing you to work alongside an experienced appointment‑taking Insolvency Practitioner while expanding your own portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Take corporate insolvency appointments, including Administrations, CVLs and MVLs.
• Manage a varied corporate insolvency portfolio from appointment through to closure.
• Provide technical and strategic input on complex cases.
• Maintain strong relationships with introducers, solicitors, lenders and other key stakeholders.
• Support and mentor junior staff where appropriate.
• Ensure all work complies with regulatory and statutory requirements.

Required profile

• Licensed UK Insolvency Practitioner.
• Proven experience managing corporate insolvency caseloads.
• Strong technical knowledge of insolvency procedures and compliance.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with an established team.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and commercial awareness.
