Part‑time Lecturer of English

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Lecturer of English to join the team at James Watt College, part of Birmingham Metropolitan College. BMet is a great organisation, home to thousands of bright and enthusiastic students and many talented and experienced staff. We are passionate about providing the qualifications and training that local employers and communities need. Our goal is to prepare all of our students for the world of work, both now and in years to come. The role will be pro‑rated based on the hours you work.

• Deliver English teaching as outlined in the attached Role Profile.

Required profile

• Relevant qualifications, experience and competencies for teaching English at further‑education level.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
• Eligibility to undergo vetting checks conducted by Security Watchdog.
