Pensions Data Consulting Director

About the role

WTW’s Pensions Data Solutions team is seeking a senior professional to lead client engagements and shape data strategies for the UK’s largest Defined Benefit pension schemes. As a Pensions Data Consulting Director you will act as a trusted adviser to pension managers, trustees and senior stakeholders, helping them unlock the value of their scheme data.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complex data consulting projects, delivering measurable improvements and commercial outcomes.
• Develop and execute client data strategies, including benefit rectifications and data optimisation.
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities to expand the practice.
• Coordinate with administrators, actuaries, legal advisers, technology specialists and external suppliers.
• Coach and mentor junior colleagues and contribute to practice growth.
• Promote innovation and best practice across pensions data services.

Required profile

• Extensive experience with UK Defined Benefit pension schemes.
• Proven track record of delivering consulting outcomes and building senior‑level client relationships.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in scoping, pricing and managing project profitability.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
