People Partner – HR Business Partner

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious HR professional to join our People & Talent team in Manchester as a People Partner. The role offers the chance to work directly with senior leaders, shape the people agenda and drive organisational change while delivering an outstanding employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to design and implement people strategies that align with commercial objectives.
• Coach and influence managers, building capability across all people matters.
• Lead and support organisational change initiatives, restructures and TUPE projects.
• Manage employee‑relations cases, providing practical, commercial advice.
• Oversee the full employee lifecycle – onboarding, performance, reward, development and exit.
• Analyse people data and insights to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with the wider People & Talent team on talent, succession planning and learning initiatives.
• Champion a positive, engaging culture where colleagues can thrive.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a People Partner, HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations and UK employment law.
• Experience delivering organisational change, restructures or TUPE.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Ability to coach and challenge managers constructively.
• Commercial mindset with a solutions‑focused approach.
• Passion for delivering an exceptional colleague experience.
