Personal Advisor – Support Care Leavers

About the role

We are partnering with a local authority to recruit four Personal Advisors for their Care Leavers Team in Manchester. The role focuses on empowering care leavers, building on their strengths and supporting personal growth and success.

Key responsibilities

• Enhance services provided to supported families and deliver positive outcomes for children.
• Assist children and families in developing meaningful relationships with professionals.
• Facilitate optimal opportunities for personal development and achievement.
• Foster a supportive environment that enables staff to thrive and improve outcomes for children and families.
• Implement restorative practice throughout the service.
• Maintain low caseloads with embedded supervision and supportive management.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 in Child Care and Education, NND, or equivalent qualifications in Health or Social Care.
• Motivated, innovative individuals who can empower care leavers and promote personal growth.
