Personal Assistant – Employers' Liability Team

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Personal Assistant to support a Partner within our Employers' Liability team. The role is based in our Sharston office and offers the chance to work in a fast‑growing, award‑winning personal injury firm.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare correspondence and legal documents using audio typing and word‑processing.
• Manage digital filing, opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files.
• Arrange appointments, meetings and maintain diaries.
• Draft enclosures for dispatch and handle client communications in person and by phone.
• Provide ad‑hoc support to other secretaries and the wider administration team.
• Uphold confidentiality of all client information and documentation.

Required profile

• Demonstrable legal secretarial experience, ideally within personal injury or civil litigation.
• Strong self‑management, initiative and attention to detail.
• Excellent English spelling, punctuation and grammar.
• Professional and friendly telephone manner.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• High audio‑typing speed (65+ wpm) and solid word‑processing ability.
