PI Solicitor – Occupiers & Public Liability

About the role

The Legists are seeking a PI Solicitor to join their award‑winning occupiers’ and public liability team in Manchester. You will manage a fast‑track caseload from inception to resolution, working within a supportive hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage individual occupiers’ and public liability claims through all stages.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings and settlement agreements.
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court.
• Progress claims efficiently through litigation, including applications, challenges, and disposal hearings.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year post‑qualification experience in occupiers’ and public liability or related personal injury work.
• Proven ability to handle a litigated caseload, including portal and non‑portal claims.
• Strong analytical and advocacy skills with a track record of successful case outcomes.
