About the role
Our Local Authority client in Lancashire is seeking a Planning Solicitor on an initial six‑month contract, with the possibility of extension. The role is hybrid, offering a blend of office and remote work, and is paid at £65 per hour.
Key responsibilities
- Drafting and negotiating Section 106 (s106) agreements.
- Preparing and clearing reports for the planning committee, with experience of development control, minerals and waste desirable.
- Providing attendance and legal support at committee meetings.
- Delivering planning enforcement advice and general planning‑related legal counsel.
Required profile
- Experienced Planning Lawyer with recent local government experience across all aspects of planning advice.
- Familiarity with development control committees, minerals and waste matters is desirable.
