Plasterer – Multi‑Trade (Social Housing)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced plasterer to join a leading housing association across the West Midlands. The role involves delivering plaster repair and maintenance work in both occupied and void social housing properties, with the possibility of contract extension or permanent placement.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out all aspects of plastering repairs, including patch plastering, skimming and rendering.
• Work safely inside occupied homes and vacant properties, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Perform minor multi‑skill maintenance tasks associated with social housing upkeep.
• Maintain high quality workmanship and provide courteous service to tenants.

Required profile

• Proven experience in social housing repairs and maintenance.
• Relevant plastering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent) preferred.
• Full UK driving licence; own van and tools are advantageous.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work independently.

What we offer

• Pay up to £27.00 per hour on a 40‑hour week.
• Mileage reimbursement at 55p per mile for business travel.
