Platform Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Platform Engineer to join our fast‑growing technology team. Working on a proprietary platform that serves millions of customers worldwide, you will help design, build, and operate the infrastructure that enables rapid product delivery and high‑quality user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, provision, and maintain cloud and on‑premise infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible and Python.
• Develop, support and enhance CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitOps tools such as Argo CD.
• Operate, scale and optimise Kubernetes clusters across hybrid environments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot platform issues and improve reliability.
• Create shared tooling, documentation and platform standards.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks to increase efficiency.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that balance scalability, reliability and maintainability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Platform or OS Engineering within Linux or Windows environments.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC).
• Solid background in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and configuration management (Ansible).
• Experience running Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Passion for automation and improving developer experience.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
