Platform Specialist – Kubernetes (Trading) – London

About the role

We are seeking a Platform Specialist with deep Kubernetes expertise to join our trading platform team in London. You will act as the subject‑matter expert for Kubernetes environments, helping to design, build and optimise the infrastructure that powers high‑frequency quantitative trading systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain best‑in‑class Kubernetes clusters.
• Develop platform components that accelerate quantitative production workloads.
• Integrate GPU architectures for compute‑intensive trading algorithms.
• Harden CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD and ensure reliable deployments.
• Implement observability solutions for platform health and performance.

Required profile

• Extensive hands‑on experience with Kubernetes in production.
• Strong background in service‑mesh technologies such as Istio or Knative.
• Proven ability to work with Linux‑based systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling, preferably ArgoCD.
• Experience in the trading or financial technology sector is a plus.
