Plumbing Lecturer

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Plumbing Lecturer to join a leading further education college in Greater Manchester. The successful candidate will inspire and develop the next generation of plumbing professionals, delivering high‑quality teaching and assessment across a range of programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures, practical workshops and assessments for plumbing courses.
• Prepare teaching materials and assess learner work in line with awarding‑body standards.
• Monitor and record student attendance, progress and achievement.
• Support and motivate learners to reach their full potential.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, development and continuous improvement.
• Ensure health and safety compliance within workshops and learning environments.

Required profile

• Recognised Level 3 qualification in Plumbing or a related discipline.
• Relevant industry experience in the plumbing sector.
• Teaching qualification or demonstrable teaching experience.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Passion for education and helping learners succeed.
• Understanding of current industry standards and practices.
