Principal Security Architect

About the role

Artificial Labs Ltd is building the next generation of technology for the specialty insurance market. As Principal Security Architect you will embed security into every stage of product development, working closely with engineering teams to ensure secure, resilient solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on security guidance to engineers throughout the development lifecycle.
• Own and evolve secure development and secure coding standards.
• Coordinate penetration testing and vulnerability management across delivery pipelines.
• Conduct threat modelling on high‑risk initiatives and enable teams to perform their own modelling.
• Define and enforce cloud security guardrails, including secure configuration, access controls and encryption.
• Drive data protection and identity security practices across the platform.

Required profile

• Senior‑level security professional with a track record of embedding security in product development.
• Proactive, collaborative mindset; enjoys working directly with engineering teams.
• Strong communication skills to raise security awareness across product and engineering groups.
