Private Client Solicitor (3-5 Years PQE)

This position offers a Private Client Solicitor the chance to join a leading regional law firm in Birmingham. You will manage a varied caseload of wills, lasting powers of attorney, trusts and estates while benefiting from clear career progression and a supportive team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and execute wills, lasting powers of attorney, trusts and estate planning documents.
• Manage client relationships and provide high‑quality, professional advice.
• Develop new business through proactive networking and reputation building.
• Stay up‑to‑date with legislative changes and share knowledge internally.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience in private client work (legal executives considered).
• Strong communication and client‑service skills.
• Ability to handle cases from start to finish with minimal supervision.
• Commitment to continuous professional development; STEP qualification preferred.

Required skills

• Knowledge of wills, trusts, estates and lasting powers of attorney.
