Private Client Solicitor (Full‑time)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Private Client Solicitor to join our long‑standing practice in Godalming. The successful candidate will work within a supportive team, handling a varied caseload of private client matters for vulnerable and high‑net‑worth individuals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of powers of attorney, deputyships and Court of Protection matters.
• Assist incapacitated or vulnerable clients in managing their affairs.
• Draft and execute wills and administer estates.
• Provide expert legal advice on private client issues and maintain high standards of client care.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a cohesive approach to service delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum three years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in private client law.
• 2:1 or higher degree in Law (or equivalent).
• Proven experience with powers of attorney, deputyships and Court of Protection matters.
• Demonstrated ability to manage affairs of incapacitated or vulnerable clients and to draft wills and administer estates.
