Private Client Solicitor – Manchester

About the role

We are seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join our well‑established Manchester office. You will manage a diverse portfolio of high‑net‑worth individuals and families, providing expert advice on wealth preservation, succession, and tax planning.

Key responsibilities

• Handle a full private‑client caseload covering wills, probate, trusts, and estate administration.
• Draft and review lasting powers of attorney and provide Court of Protection support.
• Advise on inheritance tax strategies and other wealth‑preservation matters.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients, ensuring high standards of service.
• Collaborate with senior partners to grow the private‑client department.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with 2+ years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in private client work.
• Proven ability to manage a complete private‑client caseload independently.
• Strong commercial awareness and client‑relationship skills.
• Experience with high‑net‑worth individuals, business owners, or families is advantageous.
