Private Client Solicitor (Self-Employed Consultant)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join Richard Nelson LLP as a self‑employed consultant. The role offers the freedom to work remotely or from our offices while building and managing your own client portfolio within a supportive national firm.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialist private client legal advice and representation to high‑net‑worth individuals and families.
• Manage a full caseload independently, from initial consultation through to resolution.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
• Generate revenue by meeting billing targets and contributing to the firm’s fee‑split model.
• Collaborate with the firm’s compliance, administrative and accounts teams to ensure regulatory adherence.

Required profile

• Senior solicitor with post‑qualification experience in private client law.
• Proven ability to manage a caseload and meet a minimum billing target of £100,000 per annum.
• Established client following or the capacity to develop one.
• Commitment to high‑quality, client‑focused service.
