Private Client Tax Assistant Manager – Advisory

About the role

This position sits within a private client tax team that advises entrepreneurial and high‑net‑worth individuals, families and their businesses on a wide range of tax planning matters, from business structuring and disposals to inheritance tax, estate planning and international tax residency.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advisory support to clients, helping them operate in a tax‑efficient manner.
• Conduct bespoke technical research for complex advisory projects.
• Prepare high‑quality tax reports and liaise with HM Revenue & Customs on clients’ behalf.
• Develop internal networks and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of UK and international tax legislation and case law.

Required profile

• Professional tax qualification (ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Confident client interaction and relationship‑building skills.
• Experience in UK private client or corporate tax advisory, including shareholder tax issues, restructuring, inheritance tax and estate planning.
• Ability to research complex tax topics and work with owner‑managed businesses on advisory and compliance matters.
• Eagerness to deepen knowledge of the firm’s services and capabilities.
