Private Client Tax Senior

About the role

We are seeking a Private Client Tax Senior to manage a portfolio of high‑net‑worth individuals and corporate clients. Working three days in our City of London office and two days remotely, you will deliver proactive tax solutions and support senior partners.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of a client portfolio, providing proactive and innovative tax solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Ensure projects are completed within agreed timeframes and coordinate with other departments for seamless delivery.
• Identify and resolve client issues, escalating to partners when necessary.
• Regularly update partners on client matters and manage expectations.
• Oversee work‑in‑progress, billing and recoverability for the portfolio.
• Handle general administration and maintain high technical knowledge through continuous learning.

Required profile

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Strong IT proficiency and ability to use bespoke tax software.
• Proactive team player who takes ownership of tasks.
• Confident, ambitious and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Working towards ATT/CTA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three years’ experience in private client tax.
