Production Operative – Manufacturing Shift Role

About the role

The Production Operative will work on a shift pattern, covering both day and night shifts, to keep the packing line running efficiently. You will be part of a motivated team, ensuring safety, quality and housekeeping standards are met at all times.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure smooth running of the production line by loading materials and maintaining health, safety and housekeeping standards.
• Deliver products right‑first‑time, supporting 100% defect elimination and zero housekeeping outages.
• Operate packing line processes to maximise results.
• Participate in changeovers and product changes on the line following defined standards.
• Liaise with Team Leaders, Engineering Technicians and colleagues to improve line performance.
• Communicate effectively during shift handovers and complete required documentation accurately.
• Identify personal training needs and take part in on‑the‑job training.
• Manage time and resources efficiently, highlighting any support required.
