Project Architect (Education Projects)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Project Architect to lead the design and delivery of K-12 and higher-education facilities. The role involves creating BIM models, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring compliance with educational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts and detailed design documents from schematic design through construction administration for schools and university buildings.
• Produce, manage and coordinate complex Revit models, families and construction drawings in line with firm BIM standards.
• Ensure designs meet local building codes, accessibility regulations and education department guidelines.
• Present design proposals and progress updates to school boards, university committees and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP and civil engineers using Navisworks or Revit clash detection to resolve spatial conflicts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of architectural experience focused on educational facilities.
• Architectural registration or a clear pathway to licensure is preferred.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit (family creation, worksharing, phasing).
• Experience with BIM coordination tools such as Navisworks.
• Competence in AutoCAD and rendering software (Enscape, Twinmotion or V‑Ray).
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of sustainable design standards (LEED, BREEAM).
