Project Manager - Data & Digital projects

About the role

We are seeking a Project Manager to coordinate analytical and data‑driven programmes for a client in the transportation sector. The role will act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple workstreams across a range of programmes and projects to ensure successful delivery.
• Manage project plans, schedules, budgets and resources to maintain progress against agreed objectives.
• Monitor and manage programme risks, issues and dependencies, escalating where required.
• Work closely with technical teams to understand analytical outputs and support informed project decisions.
• Produce reports and updates for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across a variety of stakeholder groups to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support governance activities to ensure programmes are delivered to agreed quality standards.

Required profile

• Experience delivering multiple workstreams on data‑driven projects.
• Background in a corporate environment, preferably consultancy or public sector, with experience engaging organisations such as local authorities, the Department for Transport, NHS, Network Rail or National Highways.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to engage both technical leads and non‑technical audiences.
