Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead fit‑out and minor building work projects for our specialist division. The role is based in Birmingham and involves managing projects from tender through to completion, ensuring quality, safety and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret contract requirements and develop tender pricing strategies.
• Produce and maintain realistic procurement and construction programmes in collaboration with the Project Quantity Surveyor.
• Lead subcontractor procurement, appointment and commercial reviews.
• Manage budgeting, cost control and contract administration using NEC and JCT forms.
• Oversee snagging, information release schedules and health‑and‑safety documentation.
• Conduct daily safety briefings and coordinate site meetings.

Required profile

• Experience in site management or project delivery within construction or fit‑out environments.
• Strong understanding of contract administration, procurement and budgeting.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and communicate with clients, designers and statutory bodies.

Required skills

• Knowledge of NEC contracts
• Knowledge of JCT contracts
• Familiarity with CDM Regulations
