Property Manager – Block Management

About the role

Stevenson Whyte is seeking an experienced Property Manager to lead its block management portfolio in Manchester. You will be responsible for a portfolio of 500‑700 residential units, providing a high‑quality service that differentiates us from larger, developer‑owned agents.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of assigned blocks, handling resident enquiries and coordinating contractor call‑outs.
• Communicate updates to residents via phone or bulk messaging platform.
• Collaborate with clients to plan maintenance and improvement projects, obtain quotes and manage budgets.
• Assist with financial control, monitor expenditures, identify debtors and use the company’s management system.
• Conduct site visits and inspections of developments, increasing the number of properties managed as you gain experience.
• Provide regular progress reports and recommendations to clients.
• Identify and pursue potential new business opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in block property management, lettings management, facilities management or as an assistant block manager.
• Customer‑focused mindset with strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage a portfolio of 500‑700 units and work independently.
• Candidates with 5+ years of block management experience may be fast‑tracked to a senior role.
