Property Risk & Coverage Lawyer

About the role

Keoghs LLP, a leading insurance law firm in the UK, is looking for a Property Risk & Coverage Lawyer to join its Property Risks and Coverage Team. The role offers hybrid working with at least one day per week in the office, based in Bolton.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage a full caseload from start to finish, including drafting applications and court proceedings.
• Support senior lead lawyers on large, high‑value claims exceeding £1 million, reviewing documents and preparing bespoke coverage advice.
• Conduct thorough investigations, legal research and document searches, and prepare instructions for counsel and experts.
• Engage in settlement negotiations, ADR and round‑table discussions.
• Attend client meetings, strategy sessions and conferences, ensuring compliance with SRA standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with case management systems.
