Qualified Teaching Assistant - Primary

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Teaching Assistant to support a welcoming primary school in Birmingham. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to help children reach their full potential in a safe and inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for pupils.
• Help create a positive, inclusive and safe learning atmosphere.
• Prepare classroom materials and monitor pupil progress.
• Support children with a range of learning needs as required.

Required profile

• Recognised Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous experience in a UK primary school.
• Positive, proactive and caring attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
