About the role

Join a Legal 100‑recognised Real Estate Dispute Resolution team in Birmingham, working on complex and commercially important property disputes. The role offers the chance to develop expertise in property litigation while benefiting from a supportive, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Advise commercial clients on a broad range of contentious property matters, including landlord‑tenant, development and contractual disputes.
• Manage your own caseload and work alongside experienced specialists on high‑value disputes.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, witness statements and correspondence.
• Support clients through negotiation, mediation and court proceedings.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the wider Real Estate practice to deliver integrated advice.
• Build strong client relationships by understanding commercial objectives and providing practical solutions.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with 4+ years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in property litigation.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex, commercial property disputes.
• Strong commercial awareness and client‑focused approach.
• Proactive attitude with a commitment to personal development.

Required skills

• Legal drafting of pleadings and witness statements.
• Negotiation and mediation of property disputes.
• Experience in court proceedings and litigation management.
