Reception Teacher (EYFS) – Part Time (4 Days)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Northwich from September 2026 to December 2026. This part‑time position works Monday to Thursday (four days per week) and offers the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging EYFS lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Monitor, assess and track pupil progress effectively.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and wider staff.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Support the wider school ethos and contribute to school life.

Required profile

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Recent experience teaching within EYFS/Reception.
• Passion for early childhood education.
• Creative, adaptable and committed to high standards of teaching and learning.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Team player with a proactive attitude.
