Reception Team Member – Evening & Night Shifts

About the role

As a Reception Team Member you will be the first point of contact for guests at Ibis London Stratford, ensuring a warm welcome and a memorable stay from arrival through departure. The role covers both evening and night shifts, combining front‑desk duties with support for breakfast and restaurant/bar operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, manage check‑in and check‑out procedures, and handle all related documentation.
• Provide high‑quality service throughout the stay, anticipating guest needs and building personalized relationships.
• Answer phone calls, respond to e‑mails, and relay information to housekeeping, technical, and other departments.
• Assist on the F&B side, supporting breakfast service and the restaurant/bar as required.
• Perform end‑of‑day accounting, balance daily transactions and prepare overnight reports during night shifts.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar front‑desk or hospitality role.
• Friendly, approachable demeanor with excellent customer‑service skills.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and nights.
• Basic IT proficiency.

• Opera property‑management system (preferred).
