Refinish Sales Manager

About the role

The Refinish Sales Manager will lead the growth of JSL Solutions' refinish product range across the UK and Ireland. You will be responsible for building new distributor relationships, expanding existing accounts and shaping the commercial strategy of the division.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, recruit and onboard new distributors and motor factors.
• Develop and grow existing distributor and motor factor partnerships.
• Support distributors in increasing penetration into body‑shops and industrial customers.
• Collaborate with internal sales and technical teams to create tailored growth plans.
• Monitor market trends and uncover new opportunities in automotive, industrial and related sectors.
• Lead and coordinate the wider sales activity within the refinish division.

Required profile

• Proven experience in automotive refinish, industrial coatings or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of motor‑factor and distribution networks.
• Commercially driven with a track record of revenue growth.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and manage a field‑based portfolio.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of automotive refinish products and applications.
• Familiarity with industrial coating specifications.
• Understanding of distributor sales cycles.
