Regional Credit Control Manager – Finance

About the role

The Regional Credit Control Manager co‑leads RLB’s credit control function, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debt, effective credit risk management and strong client relationships. Working closely with finance and operational teams, the role drives cash collection performance and continuous improvement of credit processes.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clients to support collaborative cash collection.
• Manage end‑to‑end credit control, including client onboarding, credit assessments, limit reviews, cash allocation and reconciliations.
• Drive cash collection performance through proactive debt management and escalation of aged debt to senior leadership.
• Oversee resolution of invoice queries and disputes, identifying root causes and preventing recurrence.
• Produce and analyse aged debt, cash collection and credit risk reports, providing insights for decision‑making.

Required profile

• CICM/AAT qualified or working towards a similar finance qualification.
• Proven track record of building relationships with senior internal and client stakeholders in a professional services environment.
• Strong understanding of credit risk, debt recovery, cash collection and account reconciliations.
• Demonstrated commercial awareness, problem‑solving ability and continuous‑improvement mindset.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (lookups, pivot tables, reporting tools).
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP system.
• Experience with finance and ERP platforms.
