Regional Facilities Manager – Logistics

About the role

The Regional Facilities Manager will lead the facilities function for a leading logistics and supply‑chain organisation across the Midlands and the North. Reporting to senior operations, you will ensure a consistent, safe and cost‑effective environment across a portfolio of distribution centres. The role combines site inspections, contractor oversight and strategic initiatives such as energy and CAPEX projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of all sites to identify maintenance, repair and service needs.
• Develop and maintain a robust supply base of facilities‑management service providers, suppliers and consultants.
• Ensure health and safety compliance for all planned and statutory maintenance works.
• Manage contractor performance and relationships across the estate.
• Identify and deliver cost‑saving, energy‑efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
• Lead the planning, budgeting and execution of CAPEX projects throughout the portfolio.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing facilities for a multi‑site portfolio, preferably within logistics or distribution.
• NEBOSH General Certificate (desirable) and IWFM accreditation (desirable).
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and track savings.
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical and electrical (M&E) services.
• Track record of delivering CAPEX projects on time and within budget.
