Regional Sales Team Manager – Manchester

About the role

Thirsty for a change? This is a great opportunity to motivate and develop an award‑winning field sales team for CPM, representing Suntory’s iconic brands such as Lucozade Energy, Lucozade Sport and Ribena across the Manchester region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of up to 12 field sales executives covering convenience, wholesale and food‑service channels.
• Set clear vision, strategy, training and development plans to retain and motivate the team.
• Manage costs and budgets, provide commercial insight to senior management and ensure client expectations are exceeded.
• Take ownership of regional recruitment, minimise churn and deliver performance management.
• Support the National Sales Manager with reporting, data analysis and identification of sales opportunities.
• Plan and run regional meetings, cascade communications and monitor key performance indicators.

• Strong people‑management skills with a track record of developing high‑performing sales teams.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets while managing budgets effectively.
• Creative problem‑solver who proposes innovative solutions and drives continuous improvement.
• Passion for helping individuals reach their full potential in a collaborative environment.

Required skills

• Previous experience managing a sales team, ideally at area level.
• Understanding of retail/FMCG markets is preferred.
• Full UK driver’s licence (automatic or manual).
